But I never really see New Years as a time to start fresh, I mean its like in the middle of my ‘year’ & I’m already acclimated to my routine. To me its just a change in the date that I write on my papers. I view summer as a time to make new resolutions and appropriate changes to my life. So yeah I like hanging out and celebrating New Years with my friends, but its not that big of a deal.
“People come, people go- they’ll drift in and out of your life, almost like characters in a favorite book. When you finally close the cover, the characters have told their story and you start up again with another book, complete with new characters and adventures. Then you find yourself focusing on the new ones, not the ones from the past.”—Nicholas Sparks; The Rescue
Crying like a baby right now… Gerry: Well, you think I look banged up, you should see my Camaro. Julius: Man, I sure am sorry, man. I should have been there with you. Gerry: What are you talking about? You would’ve been in that bed right next to me. Julius: You can’t be hurt like this. You - you’re Superman. Gerry: I was afraid of you, Julius. I only saw what I was afraid of, and now I know I was only hating my brother. Julius: I’ll tell you what, though. Um, when all this is over… me and you are gonna move out to the same neighborhood together. Okay? And, um… and we’ll get old, and we’ll get fat. And there ain’t gonna be all this black/white between us. Gerry: Left side. Julius: Strong side.
